Dataset description
Polygons of encumbrance of colour orthophotos, with information on the date of aerial shooting, relating to an area of Piedmont affected by a flood on 29 and 30 May 2008. The flood affected the areas including the High Valleys of Lanzo, Valle di Susa, Val Chisone, Val Germanasca, Val Pellice, Valle del Po, Val Varaita, Val Maira, Val Grana, Valle Stura and the Valli Cuneesi, as well as the plain areas affected by the outflow of the main rivers.
