Dataset description
Defines the surface of a Province as the composition of its municipal surfaces. Compared to the previous version of 2008, with the implementation of Law No 117 of 3 August 2009, it includes the municipalities formerly Marche of Valmarecchia. In this Edition there are the new municipalities of Montecopiolo and Sassofeltrio: OJ No 142 of 16 June 2021 — Law No 84 of 28 May 2021: Detachment of the municipalities of Montecopiolo and Sassofeltrio from the Marche region and their aggregation to the Emilia-Romagna region, within the province of Rimini, in accordance with Article 132, second paragraph, of the Constitution.
