Dataset description
Defines the area of the Region as the composition of its provincial areas. Compared to the previous version of 2008, with the implementation of Law No 117 of 3 August 2009, it includes the municipalities ex Marche della Valmarecchia. In this edition there are the new municipalities of Montecopiolo and Sassofeltrio: OJ No 142 of 16 June 2021 — Law No 84 of 28 May 2021: Detachment of the municipalities of Montecopiolo and Sassofeltrio from the Marche region and their aggregation to the Emilia-Romagna region, within the province of Rimini, pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 132 of the Constitution.
