Detection Support Measures for Active Inclusion — SIA and Dignity Income — ReD

The national measure Support for Active Inclusion — SIA and the Regional Dignity Income — ReD measure are considered as an instrument for combating absolute poverty, income integration and social and labour integration. They provide for an economic allowance accompanied by an active social inclusion pact which the beneficiary household, through a component of it, enters into with local social services, whose respect is a condition for the benefit. The economic benefit is recognised for a limited and predetermined period on the basis of a set of requirements concerning citizenship, residence, ISEE and multidimensional needs assessment. Therefore, these measures include in detail: • An economic allowance in the form of income support; • A social and labour inclusion programme, in the form of guidance training, training and integration aimed at social inclusion and autonomy of people, or care for their own household; • Access to training opportunities; • A social benefits programme to support the educational and parental functions of children and care for dependent family members.
