Dataset description
Digital terrain model in grid format representing the distribution of altimetry through a regular cell model to which quota information is associated. The model derives from the SRTM3 (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) data produced by the collaboration between NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and the NIMA (National Imagery and Mapping Agency), with the participation of the German and Italian Space Agencies. The data allowed to generate a DTM of the entire globe using radar interferometry.
