The dataset represents the direct discharge points (not connected to the public sewerage network) that derive from production facilities.The data presented are a part of those managed in the SIRI Water Resources Information System of the Piedmont Region — component of discharges from production sites. The entry and updating of the data is the responsibility of the Piedmontese provinces who also hold them, each for the part of the territory under their competence.
