The Structural Aggregate dataset series represents the result of a processing (primarily) starting from the building class of regional geotopographic databases. Derivative polygons have also been broken down on the basis of the boundaries of the ISTAT administrative units updated to 2021. Unlike the original data relating to the building (or cadastral buildings, in some cases), heterogeneous for their origins and methods of realisation — also from a temporal point of view — the derived final product ensures a harmonisation at national level of the information and processing carried out and the content generated. However, it is necessary to examine in advance some features that describe the complexity and specificity of the original data used.
