DTM — DEM with closed depression filling

DEM is the acronym for Digital Elevation Model. RASTER type data (ESRI GRID format), consisting of square cells of 10 m side. Each cell contains the Quota information related to the center of the cell itself. This version of the grid, is almost identical to the basic one (dem10), but is the indispensable correction to remedy the problems that any type of hydrological calculation would encounter when the flow would face a closed depression. For this reason there are several algorithms that, performed before the “launch” of hydrological calculations, fill in various ways closed depressions. The unit of measurement is [m s.l.m.]
