Dataset description

The project “Ecopaedological Charter” was born from the will of the MATTM who, in the context of the project “Charter of Nature”, included among the environmental components studied also the soil. To this end, the Joint Research Centre — European Commission has been commissioned by the MATTM to carry out the “Ecopaedological Charter of Italy”. The objectives of the project were: soil characterisation for the purposes of hydrological characteristics and erosion risks; soil-vegetation relationships; conservation aspects.
