The thematic map indicates the main ecologically homogeneous areas present in Sicily, i.e. portions that have peculiar climatic and ecological characteristics.As layers of basic information, to map the homogeneous pedo-climatic areas, the map of the Rivas-Martinez bioclimate was used, and the map of lithological types were used.
