The archive contains data on the employment (employees, independent, external and temporary) of the companies active in Tuscany by sex, sector of economic and common activity, drawn up on the basis of the Asia-Employment register, realised for the first time on the occasion of the Industry and Services Census 2011.Employment is measured in terms of total employment positions on average per year, calculated on the basis of the worker’s weekly attendance. Economic activities related to agriculture and fisheries, public administration, and activities of association organisation and extraterritorial bodies are excluded from the field of observation.Information on economic activity is presented at the first level of detail (section) of the wider Ateco2007 classification.
