Emporio Solidale

The Emporio Solidale (food bank) is part of the socio-economic support actions and represents an important possibility for families of the Territorial Social Area of Lecce contributing to the promotion of the social well-being of all citizens through the distribution of basic necessities (food products). The Territorial Social Area of Lecce signed the Convention with the Emmanuel Community on 23.6.2015 and were identified as recipients of the interventions and benefits, provided by the Emporio, Italian and foreign households resident in the territory of the Area, in possession of certain requirements, through the issue of a card that allowed them to supply the goods. For each municipality related to the scope, a number of cards has been recognised according to the number of resident population.
