Enterprises: number of enterprises and workers per sector of activity of the enterprise and characteristics of workers

The dataset contains the companies acquired in the 9th Census of Industry and Services. The detection units are: sole proprietorships, partnerships and partnerships, cooperatives (excluding social cooperatives, which are the subject of the survey on non-profit institutions), private-law consortia, public economic bodies, special companies and public service companies. For the purposes of the census, self-employed and self-employed persons shall also be considered as an undertaking. The companies are classified by Ateco 2007 (5 digits), legal form, group membership, business size, craft business character and presence of employees. NOTE: the size of the enterprise shall be defined on the basis of the class of employees: micro (less than 10 employees), small (from 10 to 49), average (50 to 259), large (250 employees and more).
