European project Music Up Close Network

The dataset collects in schematic form the main data relating to the European Project entitled "Music Up Close Network: connecting orchestral music to young audiences", of which the Lazio Region, Directorate for Culture and Youth Policies, has been a partner. The leader of the project was the Fondazione Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. The project officially ended on 14/12/2019. The role of the Lazio Region within the project has been extended in the close collaboration with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in the organisation of the local musical activities of the latter. Specifically, the main activities of the Lazio Region were the following: —Communication: development and implementation of communication strategies for regional musical events; —Audience Development: involvement of schools in the knowledge of the project and related musical events; —Final Conference of the Project: the Region organised the Final Conference of the Project, in the splendid setting of the Castle of Santa Severa.
