Exploration and exploitation of seabed resources

The seabed belonging to the continental shelf in front of the Emilia-Romagna coast is home to numerous plants for the exploitation of submarine resources and is the site of activities related to the management of sediments and sandy deposits. This Marine Zone produces in fact 50 % of natural gas in the entire national territory, with an average of about 3.4 billion cubic meters per year (Ministerial source), where among the most extensive and productive fields are remembered Angela (on the table: AC. 27.EA), Cervia (CERVIA MARE), Annamaria (A.C. 11.AG), Tea (A.C. 24.AG) and Agostino- Garibaldi (A.C. 3.AS), the latter represents the largest deposit in terms of reserve.
