The dataset includes the number of vehicles in circulation since 2004. Vehicles are divided into the following categories:
* BUS
* FREIGHT TRUCKS
* SPECIAL VEHICLES — SPECIFIC
* PASSENGER CARS
* MOTORBIKES AND QUADRICYCLES FREIGHT TRANSPORT
* MOTORCYCLES
* SPECIAL MOTOR VEHICLES AND QUADRICYCLES — SPECIFIC
* SPECIAL TRAILERS AND SEMI-TRAILERS — SPECIFIC
* TRAILERS AND SEMI-TRAILERS FREIGHT TRANSPORT
* TRACTORS OR TRACTORS
* OTHER VEHICLES
The content of the dataset (owned by ACI and present in its entirety on https://www.aci.it/laci/studi-e-ricerche/dati-e-statistiche/open-data.html) was taken from http://www.asr-lombardia.it/asrlomb/it/14022comuniparco-veicolare-circolante-categoria-comunale, where the data for the year 2009 are not present.
This dataset was issued by the municipality of Milan.
