The map service contains the mosaic of maps of the geological feasibility of the plan actions produced by the municipalities within the geological component of the PGT. The map of geological feasibility classifies the municipal territory into 4 classes on the basis of the geological, hydrogeological, hydraulic and seismic hazard factors present that limit or affect building transformations. Class 1 is reserved for areas that do not have any particular geological limitations to use for building purposes and/or for the modification of the intended use; class 2 to areas with modest limitations, which can be overcome by in-depth investigation; class 3 to areas with significant limitations on land use transformations in order to overcome which specific interventions or defence works may be necessary. Class 4 is reserved for areas where the high hazard/vulnerability entails serious restrictions on use and within which any new construction must be excluded, if not works aimed at consolidation or hydrogeological arrangement for the safety of the sites. Classes are usually divided into subclasses covering homogeneous areas by hazard factor (hydrogeological, hydraulic, seismic, geotechnical) or present vulnerability.
