Dataset description
The service allows the visualisation of the Geological Map of Italy on the 1:100,000 scale, computerised. The geology has been merged according to the lower age of the geological units, the service also allows to view the following layers: tectonics (large-scale reference layers), traces of geological profiles, point elements (stratimetry, springs, quarries, mines, water and hydrocarbon wells, geological location and surveys).
