Dataset description

The dataset represents the effects on the ground associated with the full occurrence of the Tanaro river shaft linked to the flood event of 7-10 October 1996 in the Masio — Montecastello (AL) section and in the Castagnole delle Lanze — Cerro Tanaro (AT) section. The following are shown: the delimitation of the flood field, the main erosive and depositional processes, the most significant morphological elements, the estimates of hydrometric levels, the relict fluvial forms.
