Dataset description
Forecast climate indicator for the city of Turin in the future period 2006-2100 (in the summer season June-July-August). This indicator was calculated from the simulations obtained from the regional climate model COSMO-CLM (forced by the global model CMCC-CM, forced over the period 2006-2100 by the IPCC emission scenario Representative Concentration Pathways RCP8.5 (https://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/assessment-report/ar5/wg1/WG1AR5_SPM_FINAL.pdf), extracted on the grid point centred on the city of Turin. The tropical days indicator expresses the number of days with maximum air temperature greater than 30 °C. The tropical nights indicator expresses the number of days with minimum air temperature greater than 20 °C.
