Regional maps of total alpha activity concentrations, total beta, uranium, radon and tritium are made available in the waters of the region. The largest number of data is available on water intended for human consumption sampled by the bodies of the competent health service and analysed by the ARPA Piemonte, Thematic Radiation Department, but data on surface water or groundwater generally collected from Arpa Piemonte are also published. The data is organised in six layers, each with a different symbol: — Total alpha activity concentration; — total beta activity concentration; — radon activity concentration; — tritium activity concentration; — Uranium activity concentration @-@ 234; — Uranium activity concentration @[email protected] concentrations are expressed in Bq/l. In each stratum concentrations are divided into four or five classes depending on the value. Each class is represented in a different color. The lowest concentration class is always the one lower than the instrumental sensitivity (Minima Develobile Activity — MAR) and is represented in grey color. Similarly, red is used to indicate the highest concentrations. By selecting one or more points on the map, you can consult the specific data of the water taken at that point: common sampling point, sampling point, active layer activity concentration, concentration uncertainty, georeferential quality and any notes.
