Flood level measurements recorded in real time by the stations of the regional weather network managed by Arpa Piemonte and automatically validated. The data is processed to obtain the cumulative rain in the last 3h.The data are updated every 20 minutes with a delay of about one hour and the times are expressed in the local time system. The stations of the network are divided into four basic types: Rain station — the minimum instrumental equipment consists of a flood gauge to which other meteorological sensors are associated locally; Weather station — complete stations have a rainometer, thermometer, hygrometer, speed meter and wind direction, and locally barometer and radiometer; Nivometric Station — In high mountain environment, stations add to the normal weather configuration, snow height sensors and snow cover temperature. The nivological data collected in this way complement those collected by the manual nivometric network, providing indications relating to unmanned areas and of particular interest; Hydrometric station — the minimum equipment consists of an ultrasonic hydrometer to which a pressure hydrometer and various meteopluviometer sensors are associated locally.
