# Event of 30/07/2018 — Heat wave. Since July 24, the Azores anticyclone has spread over the Mediterranean, causing a slow inflow of hot air on Sardinia that reached its peak on July 30. The heat wave in Cagliari station began on July 30, with average THI for 20h, and continued with high THI without interruption for 4 days.
