Home services for elderly people

Today there is a massive increase in demand for social health care by citizens motivated by a multitude of factors: progressive ageing of the population and consequent increase in chronicity, greater spread of discomfort, increased social and economic inequalities, higher expectations of well-being. The constant attention of social welfare aspects, with specific services, brings significant benefits for both the user and the community as a whole. In the past year, the objective was to increase the capacity to take charge of the territory, as an alternative to institutionalising older people through the SAD (Home Care Service) service, which provides for the presence of an OSS operator and ADI service (integrated home care service) which provides for the presence of both an OSS operator and a nurse.
