Household consumption: average monthly expenditure by category of expenditure and number of children

The average monthly expenditure of Milanese households is analysed by category of expenditure and by number of children (families without children, with 1 child, families with more than two children). NOTE: a family can also consist of a single person, so the family without children can be a couple or a single person). The data are expressed in euros and relate to the period 2007-2013. The source of the data is the survey “Consu-Mi, Observatory on consumption of households resident in the Municipality of Milan — 2013 edition” conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan. Note: there is no provision for a subsequent edition of the investigation.
