Households: typologies by district

The dataset shows the distribution of resident households by family type, estimated by appropriate assumptions from the population data. This distribution has been applied to reconstructed families which constitute an update based on the demographic trends of the Census results. Taking account of census results allows limiting the overestimation of the number of households affected by the register, providing a more realistic picture. In the file the data are aggregated distinguishing the heads of the family by year, neighborhood, age class, gender, family type and number of components. Due to the calculation procedures, estimates at decentralisation area level differ slightly from the aggregation of data by district. This dataset was issued by the Municipality of Milan.
