Dataset description

The main unit for the management of river basins referred to as ‘reservoir district’, consisting, where appropriate, of one or more small and large neighbouring river basins and their respective ground and coastal waters. Programmes of measures included in the basin management plans will be made operational by activating for surface water, groundwater and protected areas actions necessary to prevent deterioration, protect, improve and restore the status of water bodies, as determined by an analysis of impacts and pressures.
