Initiation of the procedure for the formation of the variant of the Structural Plan and the new Operational Plan

Initiation of the procedure for the formation of the variant of the Structural Plan and the new Operational Plan, pursuant to Article 17 of Regional Law No 65 of 10 November 2014 ‘Rules for the Government of the Territory’. The previous urban planning instruments of the Municipality of Arezzo have been adopted and approved in accordance with the regulatory provisions of the Tuscany Regional Law No 5/1995 and the Tuscany Regional Law No 1/2005, in force at the time of the drafting of municipal planning acts: — Structural plan approved by Decision No 136 of the City Council of 15 July 2007; — Urban planning regulation approved by decision of the City Council of 23 March 2011 n. 43 effective from the date of publication on the BURT of 13 July 2011. However, the Urban Regulation has expired since 14 July 2016. Article 55 of Regional Law No 1/2005 provides that, five years after the date of publication on the BURT of the notice of approval, the Urban Planning Regulation loses effect in relation to the pre-ordered constraints on expropriation, processing areas and strategic areas of intervention without the relevant agreement or for which a valid unilateral act of obligation has not been drawn up in favour of the municipality.
