Spatial interpolation of average hourly wind observations on regular Gauss Boaga grid, pitch 1.5 km x 1.5 km, using optimal interpolation algorithm. The observations, in polar coordinates (intensity [m/s] and direction [° from north]), are converted into Cartesian coordinates (Vu, Vv) [m/s] and the two components of the vector are interpolated separately and reside in separate rows. The time mark is in UTC+ 1.The data is in m/s.
The data is in geoascii format, one file for every hour, with date and time tag in the file name.
