Spatial interpolation of average hourly wind observations on regular grid Gauss Boaga, step 1.5 km x 1.5 km, through optimal interpolation algorithm. The observations, in polar coordinates (intensity [m/s] and direction [° from the north]), are converted to Cartesian coordinates (Vu, Vv) [m/s] and the two vector components are interpolated separately and reside in separate files. The timestamp is in UTC+ 1.

The data is in geoascii format, one file for each hour, with date and time tag in the file name.
