Dataset description

The dataset contains data on loans of different documents and materials in local libraries in Milan. The variables according to which loans are classified are: library of first inscription, library where the loan is perfected, type of material borrowed. Please note: the “first treatment” describes the loan of works not yet catalogued and not yet included in the patrimony of works owned by libraries but of which a summary catalog has been made to allow an immediate loan.
