LIST OF TOURIST PROFESSIONS

The recognised tourism professions in Piedmont are: — tourist guide — tourist escort — tourist animator — nature guide — escort of equestrian tourism The qualification to exercise these professions is achieved with the frequency of specific training courses and the passing of a final exam. The courses are organised by Formative Agencies (L.R. 63/95) and recognised by the Province on the basis of the programs approved by the Regional Executive. The Province issues a special licence attesting to the recognition of the tourism profession and takes care of the keeping and updating of the appropriate lists of qualified persons to these professions. Those who are already enrolled in the list of suitable for the exercise of tourist professions must take refresher courses every five years in order to maintain their registration
