Magic Foglio 62 Taurus — Vacca — Map (OpenData)

Sheet 62 is located in the area south of the Gulf of Palmas, in particular in the sector between Cape Sperone and Cape Teulada. The continental shelf is characterised by planar morphology and a weak slope. In the external platform large areas with rocky substrate outcropping and sub outcropping are attributable to the series sedimentary oligo-myocene volcano, whose dominant morphological element is represented by the volcanic building of the Isola del Toro which from the altitude of 112 m a.s.l. extends up to the depth of -100 meters. There are 5 critical points related to landslides, canyon warheads, wrecks and tectonic features. CoNISMa, Uni Cagliari.
