Magic Sheet 29 Volcano Palinuro — Map (OpenData)

Sheet 29 is occupied, in a central position, by the volcanic complex of Palinuro, while to E by the small volcanic building Glabro. The volcanic structure of Palinuro extends for about 50 km with an East-West orientation; it is characterised by an asymmetrical transverse topographic profile and consists of 8 coalescent volcanic buildings. To the east of Palinuro’s apparatus is the Glabro volcano, a volcano isolated from narrow and elongated morphology, with a width of about 5 km and a length of 7.64 km. There are 6 critical points related to volcanic apparatus, landslides, gravitative phenomena, lava flows, widespread erosion and faults. CNR-ISMAR.
