Magic Sheet 59 Carbonara — Map (OpenData)

Sheet 59 includes both the platform areas in front of the SE coast of Sardinia close to the peninsula of Capo Carbonara and the surrounding sectors of upper escarpment. The morphological structure of this sector of escarpment is related to the western side with the evolution of the southern continental margin while for the eastern side with that of the eastern continental margin of Sardinia. The bottoms included in the Foglio include a portion of the continental shelf of modest extent, an extended upper escarpment area, limited portions of the basin areas of the Gulf of Cagliari and the slopes of the Seamount Ichnusa.
