Dataset description

The database focuses on snow and avalanches in the Marche region. There are areas and areas subject to avalanche or potentially dangerous, detected through photo-interpretation and investigation on the ground, castings also identified through the aforementioned methodologies, paravalanche works and ski lifts. The Valanghe Probable Localisation Charter currently covers three distinct areas: Catria System, Central Apennines and Sibillini Mountains.
