Dataset description

The natural radioactivity of Umbria was determined through the UMBRIA-RAD project which defined the distribution of natural radionuclides and cosmic radioactivity with complementary investigation methods including rock and soil sampling and aerial overflights, followed by detailed laboratory analyses in order to also determine the effective dose of natural radioactivity. The underlying data are available in the.KMZ format for Google Earth and there is also the location of the sampling points.
