Dataset description
Information layer Mapping events of Marsican brown bear, category TTT of the theme area Environment and Nature. It is a database that summarises all the occurrences of the species in the regional territory. It was born from an experimental project to launch the Regional Monitoring Network (DGR 497/07) until the establishment of the Regional Monitoring Network of the Marsican Brown Bear in 2012. The Network is continuously operational by carrying out both scheduled seasonal monitoring activities and activities to verify the presence of the species of reported presence events on the territory.
