Dataset description
The dataset shows from 2003, for each of the airports (Linate, Malpensa, Orio al Serio) of the Milan airport system, the number of movements (arrivals and departures) of commercial aircraft divided by domestic and international flights; data for 2006 are not available
P.S.: The Milan Linate airport has been closed from 27 July to 25 October 2019 with consequent transfer of the operational activities on the Milan Malpensa airport
During the year 2020, air traffic was heavily affected by the crisis triggered by the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency that caused a sharp contraction, in line with what was recorded in the rest of the world.
