The data characterise the different areas of the city. The local differences are described through climate indicators related to 7 stations of Fondazione Osservatorio Meteorologico Milano Duomo appropriately distributed for the monitoring of temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind and radiation.
## Glossary
* Humidex: biometeorological index that provides an estimate of the discomfort perceived by man in the presence of a warm-wet climate. It is calculated by using a semi-emple formula, using temperature and humidity. It is applicable for temperature values above 20 °C, otherwise it coincides with the air temperature itself.
* Summer Day Grade: difference between the perceived daily average temperature of the external environment, calculated as the Humidex index, and the indoor set point temperature of 25 °C. Only positive differences are considered, i.e. if the Humiddex is less than 25 °C, the Summer Day Grade is automatically set at 0 °C. The Summer Day Degrees of each single day of the summer thermal season (summer quarter) are added together by providing the seasonal total.
* Days of physiological danger: days when Humiddex reaches or exceeds 40 °C for at least one hour.
* Days of physiological discomfort: days when Humiddex reaches or exceeds 35 °C for at least one hour.
* Summer thermal season: coincides with the meteorological summer, i.e. the quarter June-July-August
