In this archive are collected the municipal aggregate values calculated from the results of regional-scale simulations carried out with a chemical-physical air quality model. They are therefore not measures, but estimates that also use data from the ARPA air quality detection network.
The data accessible here are to be considered provisional until the completion of the validation process of the measures, the subsequent recalculation of the values and the publication of the consolidated figure; consolidated estimates for the previous year are usually available from 30 June of the current year.
The pollutants and their dischargeable aggregations are:
• Daily average weighed on the municipal territory of fine particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide (PM10, PM2.5, NO2 with associated parameter Average daily)). For the municipalities belonging to zone D of the new regional zoning (valley) there is also an estimate of the average weighed on the only urbanised part of the municipal territory (PM10 Urbanised, PM2.5 Urbanised, NO2 Urbanised with associated parameter Average day). The archive can be consulted from 01/01/2011 for PM10 and nitrogen dioxide, while for PM2.5 particulate matter it can be consulted from 01/01/2016;
• Maximum daily nitrogen dioxide in the municipal territory (NO2 with parameter Maximum daily.). The archive can be consulted from 01/01/2011;
• Maximum daily tropospheric ozone in the municipal territory (O3 with associated parameter Maximum day.). The archive is available from 01/05/2011 and for the years 2011 to 2015 can be consulted in the period from 1 May to 30 September; as of 01/01/2016, the figure is available throughout the year;
• Maximum daily moving average over eight hours of ground-level ozone in the municipal territory (O3_MM8 with associated parameter MaxMm8h). The archive is available from 01/01/2016.
It should be noted that the method of calculating the maximum values in the municipal territory (for nitrogen dioxide and ground-level ozone) has been updated from 01/01/2016, the date from which the maximum value is calculated as the maximum hourly average weighed on the municipal territory.
