Natura 2000 Network Sites: sites identified for natural, landscape and cultural characteristics defined by specific legislative acts. The data contain the areas forming part of the Regional Ecological Network established by a specific legislative act and classified according to the types provided for in Title II, Chapter I, of Regional Law No 19 of 29 June 2009 as amended, ‘Consolidated Text on the Protection of Natural Areas and Biodiversity’; the Sites of Community Importance identified in accordance with Directive 92/43/EEC ‘HABITAT’ of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora; the Special Protection Areas established according to the Birds Directive 2009/147/EC (ex 79/409/EEC) on the conservation of all species of naturally occurring birds in the wild in the European territory. A WFS service (vers 2.0) of the type Complex Feature is made available. To use this type of service, we recommend using — for example — the QGIS plugin ‘WFS 2.0 Client’.
