Natural and semi-natural formations

The cartography was carried out in order to deepen the level of detail of the classes 3-4-5 of the Corine Land Cover by aligning the level with classes 1 and 2 already elaborated by the City Council in the Regional Land Use of Soil Charter at the 1:25,000 scale, using a standard methodology recognised at national level. The study at the 4th and 5th level of the natural and semi-natural classes of the CUS Lazio Region, allows to define a single reference system in the classification of land cover as an indispensable tool for the planning of the town/urban planning, for the updating of the Parks Plan and for the construction of the Regional Ecological Network. The final product is a reliable tool of substantial support for decisions for monitoring and land management.
