Nursing Member Residences for the Elderly

The Residence Socio Assistential (RSA) mainly provides social care services to elderly people, aged over 64 years, with serious psychophysical deficits, who do not need complex health services, but who require a high degree of care to the person with care interventions, who are unable to lead an autonomous life and whose pathologies, not in the acute phase, cannot lead to limited levels of recoverability of autonomy and cannot be assisted at home. The social residence is functionally connected with the social health services of the Ambito, including medical-generic care, pharmaceutical assistance, social secretariat, integrated home care, daytime residential centres, also in order to plan the continuity of care interventions to guests after discharge and to reduce the incidence of hospitalisation or in extra hospital facilities (Art 67 R.R. 4/2007).
