Origins of Bologna — uncovered conduits

The historical mapping project of Bologna (between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century) was born thanks to the collaboration between a Bologna citizen and the Open Data office of the Municipality of Bologna. The aim of ‘Origine di Bologna’ is to enhance the dissemination and preservation of the city’s culture and historical memory. The Open Data office of the Digital Agenda Sector provides technical and promotional support through its own channels and, in collaboration with the proposer, takes care of the digital harmonisation of content through an interactive map and a document portal, which reports in depth the content of the historical-cultural datasets displayed.
