The territorial area between Capo Peloro and the Basin of the Saponara torrent, is located in the extreme north-eastern portion of Sicily and extends for a complex area of 85.20 Km2.The sections of the Regional Technical Charter 1:10.000 which fall within the Area of interest are: 588100, 588110, 588120, 588140, 588150, 601020.The entire Area falls within the Province of Messina. The municipal territories that are part of it are: Messina, Saponara, Villafranca Tirrena.
