The databases present contain the public-owned sports equipment reconnaissance. The survey was made on the 3 sports levels: complexes, plants and business spaces. In this respect, the data of the complexes cannot be added together with the plants and spaces as the latter (plants and business spaces) are a sub-segment of the same complexes. The data present are subdivided at the provincial and municipal levels. Here you can find a detailed dataset on the areas of activity for Municipality and Province. Available in a tab apart from the number of complexes, plants and business spaces, for Municipality and Province. GLOSSARY ACTIVITY SPACE: Space adapted to allow the practice of one or more sporting activities. The area of activity constitutes the entity. SPORTS FACILITY: Set of one or more business spaces of the same or different type, which have in common the relevant spaces for statistical studies, therefore not for tax purposes. SPORTS COMPLEX: the sports complex consists of one or more sports facilities and the respective service areas attached to the complex.
