Identification of the quality of potential linear link areas of the watercourse network. There are four types of river connections identified:- potential continuous (fluvial) section: a stretch of watercourse of less than 500 m in length that crosses medium or high natural areas (forests, meadows or pastures) but for which there is a lack of water quality data and information on wildlife stands is very scarce or absent;- potential requalification (fluvial) trait: section of a watercourse that crosses medium anthropised areas (agricultural areas, small towns) and has potential characteristics of a corridor (contiguity with better quality, real or potential sections) but for which there is a lack of water quality data and information on wildlife stands is very scarce or absent;- potentially interrupted (fluvial) section: stretch of a watercourse that crosses heavily anthropised areas (urban centres) or crossing medium-anthropised areas (agricultural areas, small towns) but not in contiguity at times of better quality, real or potential, for which there is a lack of water quality data and information on wildlife stands is very scarce or absent;- interrupted (fluvial) section: stretch of a highly polluted or artificial watercourse (channel).
