Dataset description
The figure, range, represents the lakes of Piedmont identified on the official regional cartography. It includes both the lakes protected under Article 142(1)(b) of Legislative Decree 42/2004 (water bodies of a permanent character, represented and recognizable by means of a toponym in the official regional cartography, with a perimeter of more than 500 metres, natural, lentic, superficial, internal, still, of fresh water, as well as the reservoirs and artificial barriers also of a permanent character and with the same perimeter) and the other water mirrors present in the official regional cartography.
