The data, range, identifies the territorial areas in which are included punctual archaeological goods or areas, emerging, object of excavation, still buried or buried, whose character derives from the intrinsic link between the archaeological remains and their landscape context of stock and therefore from the coexistence of cultural and landscape values. In order to identify the areas of archaeological interest, the archaeological areas in Piedmont already subject to specific protection pursuant to Articles 10 and 45 of Legislative Decree No 42/2004 have been reconnaissanced and examined; it is therefore recognised that all the areas of archaeological interest which are the subject of a specific measure pursuant to Article 10 of Legislative Decree No 42/2004 are recognised. Also included in the areas of archaeological interest are those areas subject to requirements of indirect protection pursuant to Article 45 of Legislative Decree No 42/2004, to which are recognised landscape value determined by the archaeological elements present, which have become part of the landscape.
